David Bird, Internationally Acclaimed Geophysicist, Joins Geomage as Executive Vice President, North America.

Denver, CO – 15 July 2008 - Geomage, a leading provider of seismic and data processing services, announced today that David Bird, an exploration executive with 28 years of industry experience, joined the company as an Executive Vice President of Operations, North America.

Officing in Denver, CO, David Bird will run Geomage North American operations while expanding Geomage client base in the US and Canada and supervising all service performed for clients in North America.

“David is a great addition to the Geomage senior management team,” said Tamir Tal, Geomage Chief Operations Officer. “He is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in applying innovative technology to large-scale exploration projects. Our business in North America is growing rapidly and David brings the vision and the kind of management talent needed to better serve our clients and take our business in the region to a higher level.”

David Bird received his degree in Geophysical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1979. He has twenty-eight years of experience applying leading edge geophysics to oil and gas exploration at Burlington Resources, Anschutz Exploration, Western Geophysical, Wexpro, Texas Eastern, and Superior Oil. He comes to Geomage from Samson Resources where he held positions of Senior Geophysicist, Manager of Geophysics, Exploration Manager, and most recently was Exploration Advisor - Rockies and Canada.
