Cardiovalve, spun out from Valtech Cardio, developed a transfemoral transcatheter valve replacement system designed to treat both mitral and tricuspid valve anatomies. The system offered a less invasive alternative to open-heart surgery, with a compact profile, secure anchoring mechanism and enhanced sealing designed to reduce the risk of LVOT obstruction and paravalvular leakage.

In 2022, Cardiovalve was acquired by Venus Medtech, a China-based leader in transcatheter structural heart valve therapies.
