Memic announces completion of first patient cases using Hominis® Surgical System

Memic (now Momentis Surgical), a Peregrine Ventures portfolio company, announced the completion of the first U.S. patient procedures using the Hominis® Surgical System. The first and only FDA-authorized surgical robot was utilized in robotic-assisted transvaginal hysterectomy. 

This achievement marks a milestone in the treatment of females seeking benign gynecological procedures. Through the transvaginal approach, patients experience less pain, lower infection rates, faster recovery, and virtually no visible scarring.
