Merck joins Peregrine Ventures’ Incentive Incubator as strategic partner

Merck, a global science and technology company, has joined Peregrine Ventures’ Incentive Incubator as a strategic partner. The collaboration gives Merck early access to promising healthcare innovations in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and bio-convergence, while enabling it to support startups in areas including product development, early-stage clinical programs and regulatory strategy.

Merck joins a strategic partner network that includes Bristol Myers Squibb, Becton Dickinson (BD), Elbit Systems, Tel Aviv University, Ben-Gurion University and Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Together, the partners provide early-stage healthcare companies with access to industry expertise, scientific capabilities and global networks designed to help accelerate development and commercialization.

Managed by Peregrine Ventures since 2002, the Incentive Incubator has supported more than 60 companies and played a role in the early development of healthcare companies including Valtech Cardio, CartiHeal and CardioValve. The addition of Merck further strengthens the incubator’s ability to connect emerging healthcare technologies with global industry expertise and strategic partners.
