Digma Medical is developing a novel endoscopic ablation platform for gastrointestinal diseases, beginning with Barrett’s Esophagus. Its proprietary Endoscopic Gastrointestinal Ablation Device (EGAD) combines imaging-guided, contactless, depth-controlled laser ablation with a proprietary balloon catheter to deliver precise, uniform treatment while protecting healthy tissue. Compatible with standard gastrointestinal endoscopes and designed for routine endoscopy suites, the platform aims to expand access to safer, more consistent, and minimally invasive treatment across a broad range of gastrointestinal indications.
