The new facilities will enable Aleph to expand its headcount, and support its operational growth, while successfully meeting it’s business milestones. The facility, is located in the city of Rehovot, which is considered Israel’s bio-tech hub. The transition into a pilot production plant advances the process of gaining regulatory approvals in the US and in Singapore for the first product this year and will support the initial market entry of their first product — thin-cuts of beef — by the end of 2022.
